Holmes Packaging Acquisition

We are pleased to announce that Sealed Air Corporation, through its New Zealand subsidiary, has acquired H A Holmes & Coy Ltd of Rotorua, New Zealand. Holmes Packaging is a leading manufacturer and innovator of milk powder packaging and other dairy, and meat packaging solutions. Holmes also manufactures Stratapac TM, a new proprietary, all plastic, milk powder pack. Holmes Packaging Australia, a subsidiary of Holmes Packaging New Zealand, is also a part of this transaction.

The acquisition of Holmes broadens the Sealed Air/Cryovac range of product offering within the food packaging segment. It positions Sealed Air/Cryovac as a global, total solution-provider within the milk powder and dairy packaging segment. Sealed Air/Cryovac is also broadening an already enviable global expertise in high barrier co-extrusion, through the welcome addition of the competent Holmes manufacturing and technical teams.
